Out-sourcing HR to a consultant has been our saving grace
Over the years we’ve tried to fully familiarize ourselves with the HR processes, and all the do’s and don’ts. With just a few employees in startup mode, it wasn’t too difficult. As we grew in numbers hiring an HR manager became imperative. The few we had were either with us for a few months or a couple of years; they didn’t fit, we didn’t fit, we paid too little, or too much, we hired wrong. Along the way, I had met Trudi. She was working for a co-employer company. We chatted periodically until one day she told me that she had started her own HR consulting firm, People Person Inc.
Before Trudi could complete the sentence, “I’m looking for clients” I said, “we’re in!”.
